What Does the RN Do?ย ย 

  • Follow Physician orders and communicate accurate assessment data to maintain quality of careย ย 

  • Record a patientโ€™s medical history accuratelyย 

  • Monitor/document patientsโ€™ change of condition, notify Physician and supervisorย ย 

  • Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasksย 

  • Provide monitoring/training of staff to maintain quality of care for ALL residentsย 

  • Communicate with patientsโ€™ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructionsย
