Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients. This includes but is not limited to the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities within the area on the nurse's tour of duty.

The Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for implementing the Plan of Care for patients assigned which includes but is not limited to: Coordinating with the General Manager and Authorization Specialists appropriate changes in the Plan of Care with regards to care provided, frequency, and referral to other services. The nurse is responsible for supervising and responsibly directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel utilizing both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
