Job Requirements
  • Active RN license eligible for practice in West Virginia
  • 2+ years of Operating Room nursing experience required
  • Experience as a circulating nurse in general, GYN, vascular, orthopedic, urology, podiatry, and robotic cases preferred
  • Current ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required
  • Prior travel RN experience strongly preferred
  • CNOR preferred
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and a collaborative approach to patient care
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
Responsibilities
  • Provide circulating RN support for a variety of surgical procedures in the Operating Room
  • Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient OR environment
  • Prepare the operating room and ensure needed supplies, equipment, and instruments are ready for each case
  • Partner closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to support smooth case flow
  • Monitor patient status throughout the perioperative process and advocate for safety at every step
  • Document care accurately in the electronic health record
  • Adapt to a variety of case types, including robotic surgery and specialty procedures
  • Support weekend, call, and float coverage as assigned
