RN Supervisor

Job Summary:

River Ridge Living Center, an upscale and gracious setting, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team. As an RN Supervisor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents and supervising our staff. If you are a responsible, well-trained professional with excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures, we encourage you to apply for this full-time position.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervisor staffing for the shift and participate in staff reviews

  • Make rounds on all units, review reports with the charge nurse, and check on residents listed on the report

  • Ensure that resident comfort, safety, dignity, and privacy are maintained

  • Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

  • Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and nursing assistants

  • Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license for NYS

  • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures

  • Excellent knowledge of emergency care

  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures and willingness to always follow them
