Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring Warehouse Associates to pick, pack, and process orders for a retail distributor in Conroe, TX.
Pay:$14.00/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Location: Conroe, TX
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Work Environment: Warehouse
Responsibilities
  • You will use RF scanners to accurately pick, verify, and pack customer orders for shipment.
  • Pick items from shelves and bins according to order specifications and pack them securely to prevent damage during transit
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments by checking quantities and quality against purchase orders and ensuring accurate documentation
  • Organize and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations and update inventory systems
  • Conduct regular stock counts to reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Label packages, coordinate with logistics providers, and load goods onto trucks in a timely manner
  • Perform duties across various warehouse areas, including the shipping department, container unloading, and other warehouse positions as needed

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of recent work history

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience
  • Familiarity with RF scanner systems and inventory management
  • Experience in high-volume order picking and packing operations
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures in retail distribution
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
  • Experience with inventory counts and stock reconciliation
  • Ability to use an RF scanner
