Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Full-Time, Permanent Placement)

Location:La Porte, Indiana
Department: Nuclear Medicine
Status: Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | Permanent Hire


Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team in La Porte, IN. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and limited weekend call.


Schedule Details:
  • Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 40

  • Weekend Call: On-call Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (rotating)


Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapeutic purposes.

  • Operate imaging equipment, including PET/CT scanner (occasional float to Cancer Center).

  • Evaluate images for technical quality.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety protocols are followed.

  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.


Qualifications:
  • Required Certifications:

    • CNMT and/or ARRT (NM)

    • Indiana State Nuclear Medicine License

    • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • Education: Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Experience:

    • New graduates are welcome to apply — we provide mentorship and support for early career technologists.
