This role is fully remote, offering flexibility and the ability to effectively balance work and personal commitments. Working within a school setting, the LCSW will have regular interactions with students, educators, and other mental health professionals. The standard work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, with no evening or weekend hours required.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering optimal client outcomes.
• Administer psychotherapy and provide therapeutic counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Maintain and manage a caseload of diverse clients, coordinating care and ensuring timely follow-ups on each client’s progress.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including psychologists and school staff, to integrate mental health services into students’ educational frameworks.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and provide immediate support during emergencies or acute mental health episodes.
• Facilitate the referral process for clients requiring inpatient care or specialized mental health services, ensuring recipients receive appropriate and timely support.
• Screen patients for substance abuse issues, providing counseling or referrals to rehabilitation services where necessary.
• Educate clients and families about mental health resources, strategies for coping, and available services within the community.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will primarily serve students ranging from early childhood through adolescence, addressing a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related challenges. Providing a safe and supportive space, the LCSW will foster trust and rapport with clients and their families to facilitate successful therapeutic outcomes.

• Must have a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW license to practice in Texas is required.
• Proven clinical skills with a strong foundation in crisis intervention and counseling techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to accurately document and present information.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and other digital documentation tools to manage patient data effectively.
• Cultural competence and experience in working with diverse populations are essential.

• Previous experience working in a school setting or with youth populations is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal behavioral health programs.
• Competence in delivering specialized programs such as cognitive behavioral therapy or trauma-informed care is a plus.
