As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Beverly Wellness Care, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans to address clients' unique needs.
• Provide ongoing consultation in developing pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies, risk assessments, and positive behavior support plans.
• Efficiently document interactions and interventions in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilize best-practice, evidence-based screening tools as advised by team guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to implement therapeutic interventions and support best practices in behavioral health.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring all standards are met.
• Serve as a liaison to state agencies and community partners to simplify access to services and resources for clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, identifying potential partnerships and funding opportunities to enhance service delivery.
• Commit to continuous personal and professional development by participating in conferences, workshops, and other educational opportunities.
• Promote the agency's mission and values through community engagement and outreach activities.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director to meet organizational goals.

The counselor will work with a diverse population, including individuals dealing with emotional and psychological challenges, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and neurological conditions. You will focus on fostering therapeutic relationships by understanding each client's values, experiences, and backgrounds, creating a safe and supportive environment to encourage healing and growth.

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field, ensuring a strong foundation in psychological theories and practices.
• An independent LMHC license, demonstrating your proficiency and ability to provide mental health counseling.

While not mandatory, candidates are encouraged to highlight any specific experience in telehealth methodologies, crisis intervention techniques, and the development of community-based programming. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a background in working with diverse populations will help you excel in this role.
