Remote Bookkeeper (Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable)
About the Company
Our client operates multiple businesses and is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper to
manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support accounts
receivable and accounts payable functions. This is a part-time remote opportunity ideal for an
experienced bookkeeping professional based in Israel.
Position Overview
The Remote Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing vendor
payments, monitoring customer invoices, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping using QuickBooks
Online. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable following up on
outstanding invoices while maintaining positive client and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks Online.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP), including vendor invoices and payment scheduling.
• Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and follow up on outstanding invoices via email.
• Record financial transactions accurately and maintain organized financial records.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions.
• Assist with month-end bookkeeping and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding invoices and payment inquiries.
• Ensure all financial documentation is complete and up to date.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Support management with bookkeeping reports and financial data as requested.
Required Qualifications
• Previous bookkeeping experience.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
• Experience handling both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Experience performing bank reconciliations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written communication skills, particularly for professional email follow-ups.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting multiple businesses or entities.
• Familiarity with third-party payment platforms or financial systems.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Experience working remotely.

Schedule
• Part-time
• Approximately 3 hours per day
• Preferred working window: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Israel Time (flexible within this
timeframe)
