Polaris Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote role. This position plays a critical part in providing high-quality mental health services to patients, particularly within a detox center environment, addressing the needs of individuals facing serious mental health challenges.

The role is fully remote, allowing you to provide essential services from your home while participating in collaborative team meetings. While the typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, occasional evening or weekend hours may be necessary to accommodate client needs. This flexibility is designed to enhance our responsive care model and support our diverse patient base.

• Serve as a primary clinician for clients suffering from major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, providing direct assessments, treatment plans, and progress evaluations.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and engage in collaborative care efforts to meet overarching team goals, ensuring a unified approach to patient care.
• Commit to cultural competency by respecting and understanding diverse traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal styles among clients and colleagues.
• Navigate the organizational and financial structures of Polaris Behavioral Health Center and external systems, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to established protocols.
• Uphold the highest professional ethical standards and code of conduct, contributing to a trustworthy environment for clients and team members alike.
• Work both independently and with teams to enhance clinical skills, achieve performance goals, and drive improvements in patient outcomes through a focus on empowerment and choice.

This position primarily serves individuals enrolled in our detox programs, many of whom face complex challenges due to co-occurring mental health and substance use issues. As a clinician, you will play a pivotal role in developing tailored treatment strategies that emphasize recovery, resilience, and holistic health, aiming to support clients in achieving sustained recovery.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois is mandatory.
• Expert knowledge in risk assessment, crisis management, and therapeutic techniques for individuals facing mental health and addiction issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to document evaluations, treatment plans, and interactions with clients effectively.
• Demonstrated organizational and planning skills to manage a caseload efficiently.

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or behavioral health setting is preferred, illustrating a track record of effective interventions and outcomes.
