Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to establish their mental health status.
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, either one-on-one or in group settings, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for clients to share their experiences.
• Provide ongoing support and education to clients, equipping them with coping skills and tools to manage their mental health effectively.
• Coordinate care as necessary by referring clients to psychiatrists, support groups, and other healthcare providers to address comprehensive health needs.
• Document client progress and treatment outcomes using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Polaris Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders, various forms of anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Your ability to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship will be critical in helping clients navigate their challenges and work towards recovery and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field is required.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or counseling setting is highly preferred.
• Strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and empathetic listening are essential traits for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

Experience with diverse populations and a variety of mental health conditions is highly valued. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000 per year, complemented by a sign-on bonus to support your transition into our practice. Our compensation package also includes access to unlimited client referrals, ensuring that you have a steady stream of clients to support your practice. Polaris Behavioral Health Center covers the essential administrative aspects such as billing and paperwork, allowing you to dedicate your time and focus to client care.
