As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brightside Health Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging group sessions that help clients connect and share experiences, promoting collective learning and peer support.
• Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling to explore clients' thoughts and emotions while helping them develop effective coping strategies and actionable goals.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that cater to their specific needs and preferences, ensuring a goal-oriented approach.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document clients' progress using a variety of assessment tools, providing feedback and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members to coordinate comprehensive care, consult on complex cases, and maintain effective communication regarding client needs and treatment initiatives.

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30 tackling an array of mental health challenges. • A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• A solid understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices and treatment methodologies.

• Experience providing mental health services to adolescents and young adults.
• Familiarity with outpatient treatment settings and group therapy facilitation.
• Previous work in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments.
• Experience with electronic health records and treatment planning software.
