The Impact You'll Have As a Physical Security Specialist, you will serve as critical member of the Corporate Safety & Security team, responsible for safeguarding associates, visitors, contractors, company assets, and facilities while delivering exceptional customer service. This position combines physical security, Security Operations Center (SOC) monitoring, access control administration, emergency response coordination, visitor management, reception support, and security technology administration.
As a weekend Physical Security Specialist, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, supporting emergency response activities, and helping ensure business continuity. This role requires strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while serving as a trusted security resource during weekend operations. Your work will help protect people, facilities, and company assets while supporting a secure workplace environment. What You'll Do
  • Monitor and operate Security Operation Center systems, reporting safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances.

  • Receive and triage calls promptly, dispatching security/facilities staff as required, and directing inquires through established processes.

  • Respond to security issues and emergencies, coordinating with emergency services (EMT, Fire, Police, etc.) and internal teams as needed.

  • Manage access permissions, video management, key management systems, and cardholder records.

  • Remains flexible to ever changing environment; adapts well to different situations. Constant mental alertness and attention to detail required while setting priorities and following up on assignments.

Hiring 1 Part-time, Weekend Physical Security Specialist

  • Saturday - Sunday - 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
How You'll Do It
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and guests by welcoming individuals, managing visitor access and registration, directing visitors appropriately, and maintaining a secure and professional reception area.

  • Support audits, investigations, and security reviews by gathering information and maintaining required documentation.

  • Communicate and coordinate with the security and safety teams to maintain business operational continuity.

  • Performs additional responsibilities consistent with the scope and level of the role, as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 1+ years of related work experience
  • High school diploma (or equivalent)

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Prior experience in physical security, corporate security, building security, patrol operations, or related security environments.
  • Strong situational awareness, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment during emergencies or unexpected situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work, adapt to changing needs, and maintain attention to detail.
Licensure/Certifications Required -
CPR - American Red Cross Role Designation Onsite

Role designation definition:

  • Teleworking is working full time remote.
  • Hybrid is a minimum of 2 days onsite.
  • Onsite is full-time onsite.
Compensation and Benefits $23.81 - $29.76 - $35.71 Hourly
