To thrive as a Weekend React Developer, you need strong proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, front-end development, and a solid understanding of web fundamentals, often demonstrated through relevant experience or a degree in computer science. Familiarity with tools like Git, npm, modern build systems (Webpack, Vite), and knowledge of RESTful APIs are typically required. Excellent time management, problem-solving skills, and effective remote communication are important soft skills for success in this flexible, often autonomous role. Additionally, prioritizing tasks and focusing on deliverables that can be completed independently helps maximize productivity during weekend hours.
