Job description

Facility: Health care center offering a wide range of advanced services.
Opportunity:
  • Current staffing
  • 3 interventionalists (2 NPs as well)
  • 2 EP (1 NP)
  • 3 General cardiologists – one leaving, needing another
  • 1 structural heart NP and 1 nurse navigator
  • Pediatric cardiologist-2x/month
  • Heart failure specialist from St. Louis 1x/month
  • 2 NP cardiac hospitalists
  • Staff longevity/certified – RCS, RDCS, RCIS, RCSA, RCES, RN-BC CV, and PCCN
  • Dedicated weekend staff for STEMI and urgent inpatient procedures
  • Dedicated cardiac hospital NPs 7 days/week, 12 hour shifts to assist with patient flow, admits, consults, stress testing, etc
  • Echo service 24/7
  • NIC RN on-call for weekend work
  • NIC able to perform all tests on the weekend re: stress tests, nuclear, TEE, etc.
  • Other services
  • STEMI protocols – door-to-balloon time ave 56 min, bypass protocols, active EMS system, Chest pain accredited with PCI
  • Cardiac Rehab phase I, II, III
  • Structural heart program – TAVR, Watchman, PFO/ASD
  • CT surgery coverage 24/7
  • Vascular surgery coverage
  • Same-day discharge protocols for both cath/EP
  • 90% radial approach for cath/STEMI procedures
  • Participation in NCDR, STS, LAOO, and TVT registries
  • Cardiology outreach in surrounding communities
  • Heart Failure specialist 1 day/month
  • Pediatric cardiology services 2x/month
  • Accredited – ICAL echocardiography; AACVPR cardiac rehab; Chest Pain/PCI; Stroke; Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care
  • General cardiology call rotation: generally, 1 w/e (5p Friday to 7a Monday) every 4-5 weeks and 1 call day during work week
Compensation:
  • Salary; Direct from training $675,000 / 3 or more years $725,000 productivity bonus potential
  • Sign On; $50,000
  • EDU Debt Forgiveness; up to $150,000
