What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Weekend Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and why are they important?

To thrive as a Weekend RBT, you need a solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Familiarity with data collection tools, ABA software, and experience following treatment plans is essential. Strong communication, patience, and adaptability make someone stand out when working directly with clients and their families.
