TITLE: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma
  • Current RBT certification required
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including walking, running, standing, sitting, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to maintain excellent attendance records, ensuring reliable and punctual presence in the workplace.
  • Demonstrated competency in assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Regular, reliable and punctual attendance required.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be appropriate and acceptable.

REPORTS TO: Director of Special Education
COMPENSATION: $23.00 per hour
SUPERVISES: None
JOB GOAL: Responsible for providing one-on-one therapy addressing goals prescribed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance
  • Provide direct 1:1 support to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Collect and analyze data to track progress and make data-driven decisions
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with BCBAs and team members to ensure effective interventions
  • Communicate with parents, caregivers, and stakeholders regarding progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and progress reports
  • Attend regular supervision and training sessions
