Responsibilities
  • Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
  • Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans
  • Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met
  • Implement physician's orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident
  • Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
  • Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare's nursing facility

Qualifications
  • Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in the state of Maryland
  • 1 year of nursing experience preferred
  • Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or long-term health care facility a plus
  • Must possess a current CPR license
