Direct, monitor, and follow-up on activities that have been assigned to each crew. Establish a working relationship with crew members and aid in the evaluation of their skillsets and abilities to expand upon them. Maintain maintenance requests and verify completion.

Essential Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Collaborates with the leadership to establish a code of conduct for each crew member.

  • Retrieves, assigns, and confirms work requests through the Hippo system.

  • Identifies critical skills needed and establishes a method for employees to obtain those skillsets.

  • Aids in maintaining an organized spare parts warehouse.

  • Tracks and documents equipment downtime.

  • Works with diagnosticians to assign work plans for machine downtime events.

  • Maintains and promotes a safe working environment.

  • Follows safety and quality policies.

  • Monitors and ensures job sites are clean and free from potential hazards.

  • Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.

  • Coordinates work efforts with co-workers to complete tasks in a safe and timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • HS Diploma/GED is required.

  • Technical School or formal apprenticeship required.

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance related fields.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with and manage people.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with the crew members.

  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.

Equipment or Software Knowledge or Skills:

  • Working knowledge of basic computer skills and software (MS Office Suite, etc).

  • Working knowledge of basic Electrical, Electronic, Hydraulic, and Mechanical aptitudes.

  • Working knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in construction work.

Essential Physical Functions:

  • Ability to understand, follow, and communicate written and oral instructions.

  • Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.

  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to stand for up to 95 per cent of the shift.

  • Ability to work in conditions below 32 degrees or above 90 degrees on occasion.
