We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our team!In this position you will play a key role directing manufacturing operations in the Crestline (Mansfield), OH plant. Responsibilities:

  • Welcome your team to daily pre-shift meetings, providing communication of important details and engaging information
  • Ensuring team members are assigned to a position they are trained in and that they have the resources to do their work
  • Holding team members accountable to core safety, quality, and production policies, practices, procedures, and guidelines
  • Auditing the production areas for compliance with 5S requirements
  • Recommending improvements to any process, procedure, or practice within the organization to help the team and results
  • Accurate and timely completion of payroll, time-off approvals, and communication to team members and payroll
  • Training assessments
  • Accurate and timely entry of work orders to match production inventory
  • Taking time to help employees understand not only what is going on each day, but also the why
  • Supporting the team members professionally to achieve their hour-by-hour goals

Qualifications:

We are looking for a strong people leader who combines solid manufacturing knowledge, team building skills and the ability to assess priorities and act decisively within a fast-paced, demanding environment. It is also important that you display excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additional requirements include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a relevant degree is highly preferred
  • Candidates with at least 3 years' experience in supervision is required
  • Manufacturing experience is required, and automotive experience is a plus
  • Schedule flexibility; must be willing to work 12-hour shift rotation, nights, and weekends

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Team building skills are essential to coach and develop associates
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • SAP user experience a plus
  • Problem solving
