The Admissions and Referral Registered Nurse (RN) renders professional nursing care to patients within the assessment and admission process. Practices ongoing patient assessment through observation of physical and behavioral symptomatology. Documents all data accurately in a timely manner. Participates in formulation of individual care plans for all patients and implements plan according to hospital policy. Communicates pertinent data to other service areas as needed. Encompasses responsibilities delegated to A & R representatives as regularly needed.
