The facility features a collaborative and growing Cardiology service line, a strong primary care and community referral base, and is supported by a high-caliber, collegial team committed to delivering exceptional care to its surrounding community.

Board Certified / Board Eligible - Cardiology, Non-Invasive
Job Details:
  • Clinic rotation Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with shared call of an Echo rotation that includes reading on weekends
  • Provide non-invasive cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Perform evaluation and management services, including interpretation of EKG, Echocardiography, Cardiac Nuclear Imaging, stress Echocardiography, Holter/event monitors, Cardioversion, and Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
  • Examine, diagnose, and provide a broad scope of treatments for cardiac disease processes
  • Perform patient examinations, obtain pertinent medical history, and document subjective and objective findings
  • Interpret and integrate clinical data to determine diagnosis and therapeutic plans
  • Review and sign individual treatment plans for cardiac rehabilitation patients
  • Collaborate with other medical specialties to meet established standards and practices of care
  • Utilize appropriate risk calculators and remain current with emerging studies, technology, and medications
  • Administer and manage prescribed medications in compliance with state law and practice guidelines
  • Order and perform appropriate medical procedures in accordance with state law and practice guidelines
  • Instruct patients and families regarding medications, treatments, illness prevention, and community resources
  • Maintain and review patient records, charts, and documentation clearly and concisely within the electronic medical record
  • Triage patient telephone calls and provide consultation as needed
  • Participate in physician meetings and assist with policy formation for the cardiovascular clinic
  • Average 10-15 patients per day with NP/PA support available
  • Willingness to provide outreach services to nearby critical access hospitals
  • Nuclear and Echo certification strongly preferred
  • BE/BC in Internal Medicine and Cardiology (Non-Invasive) required
  • Fellowship-trained in Cardiology required
  • Active Oregon medical license required (or willingness to obtain)
  • Clean malpractice history and background required
  • NPDB Self-Query Report required at time of presentation
  • DEA required prior to start
  • Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
  • Accepting Locum to Perm candidates
  • This is a permanent, full-time position requiring residency within the immediate local area
