Interventional Cardiologist

We are seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join an established cardiovascular team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to practice advanced interventional cardiology within a supportive health network. The Interventional Cardiologist will join a regional cardiology practice providing comprehensive cardiovascular services. Responsibilities include providing interventional cardiology services for the regional practice. You will perform cardiac catheterizations and coronary angioplasty/stenting. Conduct emergency angioplasty procedures for acute myocardial infarction and provide inpatient cardiovascular consultations. You will also perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and conduct electrical cardioversions. The role includes performing and interpreting transesophageal echocardiograms. Participate in pacemaker, bi-ventricular pacemaker, ICD, and loop recorder implantation. Evaluate and treat patients with coronary artery disease and manage patients with cardiomyopathy and arrhythmias. Provide treatment planning for valvular heart disease and participate in heart failure management. The cardiologist will deliver presurgical cardiovascular evaluations and support lipid management and anticoagulation management. Collaboration with advanced practice providers, nurses, and medical assistants is essential. You will work within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular care model. This position focuses strictly on Interventional Cardiology with no structural heart allocation. There is an opportunity for career growth, leadership, and internal advancement.
