Location: Andover, Massachusetts is a charming suburban town located about 25 miles north of Boston. Known for its rich history, scenic beauty, and excellent schools, Andover offers a blend of small-town charm and modern amenities. The town is home to a vibrant community and is often recognized for its beautiful residential neighborhoods and well-maintained parks.
Facility: A leading center for ophthalmic research and clinical trials, focusing on advancing the understanding and treatment of various eye conditions, including dry eye disease, allergic eye conditions, and retinal diseases.
Opportunity: Certified Phlebotomy Tech
* Saturdays and Sundays 8a-7p
* Assignment is various weekends January-March
* Allergy patients
* Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on study participants, adhering to proper safety protocols and industry standards.
* Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of blood samples for clinical research trials.
* Prepare blood specimens for transportation, including proper handling and processing to preserve sample integrity.
* Work closely with the clinical research team to follow research protocols, ensuring compliance with study guidelines.
* Assist in maintaining patient confidentiality and data security in accordance with HIPAA and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) regulations.
* Requirements: Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT), Familiarity with clinical research trials, GCP, and relevant regulatory guidelines is a plus
