Phlebotomy Technician Instructor
Excellent medical instructors possess a commitment to education, a passion for the medical field and a sincere desire to see others succeed. As a Phlebotomy Technician instructor, you will work on-site to provide hands-on training to our students. If you are passionate about teaching others and have experience in phlebotomy, we encourage you to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Implement lesson plans and curriculum
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Able to work on-site
  • Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor and follows through appropriately
  • Works when scheduled; begins and ends work as expected; calls in according to policy when arriving late for work or when absent; uses work time appropriately

Minimum Requirements: Registered Phlebotomy Technician (RPT), or other healthcare credential from an accredited organization, and a minimum of 3-5 years of phlebotomy related experience.
  • Proven coaching and development skills, including demonstrated ability to support and teach
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills
  • Energy, creativity and initiative
  • Dependability, resilience, resourcefulness and enthusiasm
  • 3 years of experience in phlebotomy in the last 5 years
  • Able to provide hands-on training to students in the field of phlebotomy
  • Is up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in the field of phlebotomy
  • Experience in teaching or training is a plus
