We are currently seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Maintenance Worker to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure the hotel's facilities, equipment, and guest spaces are operating safely, efficiently, and at the highest standards. From completing routine repairs and preventative maintenance to responding to guest and operational needs, this position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for both guests and team members.


The ideal candidate is dependable, hands-on, solution-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining spaces that leave a lasting impression.


What You'll Do:

  •  Performs routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs. 
  • Responds promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, addressing issues efficiently and effectively. 
  • Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and makes necessary repairs to minimize downtime. 
  • Conducts regular inspections of hotel rooms, public areas, and facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential hazards. 
  • Implements preventive maintenance schedules for equipment, systems, and facilities to ensure longevity and reliability. 
  • Ensures compliance with safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance activities. 
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment, promptly addressing any safety concerns. 
  • Required to be available for on-call maintenance during emergencies and quickly address urgent situations to ensure guest safety and comfort. 
  • Monitors inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, and report shortages or needs to the appropriate manager. 
  • Maintains and organizes tools and equipment for efficient use. 
  • Keeps detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules. 
  • Provides reports to supervisors on completed tasks and ongoing projects. 
  • Coordinates with other hotel departments to schedule maintenance activities that minimize guest disruptions. 
  • Collaborates with external contractors when needed for specialized repairs or projects. 
  • Other duties as assigned by management.  

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:  

  • Ability to work collaboratively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction. 
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on experience in maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. 
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems. 
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. 
  • Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Good communication skills for interacting with guests, staff, and external contractors. 
  • Adherence to the hotel's dress code and maintaining a neat and professional appearance at all times. 
  • Reliable and punctual. 

Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently. 
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the hotel's operational needs. 
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Vocational training or certification in maintenance or a related field is a plus. 
  • Prior experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
