Job description

Take the lead in shaping a new standard of luxury air travel. With full autonomy over flight operations strategy, you’ll run things your way and build a high-performing team. You’ll be a key part of the leadership team, guiding Magnifica Air through our certification and start of operations and be our 119 Director of Flight Operations.

Enjoy a direct impact on flight operations, SOC, standards, dispatch, customer service, safety, and operational excellence - all backed by a generous package that includes fully covered health benefits. It’s a rare chance to shape a brand new luxury airline concept with the freedom to make your mark.

With a hugely experienced and talented team around you, there’s plenty of opportunity to learn from the best while mentoring others. You’ll set the direction for flight operations and have the tools to deliver exceptional results.

You’ll maintain a strong relationship with FSDO and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards, including FAA regulations, TSA requirements, and international aviation regulations.

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. You’ll manage and mentor a team of operations personnel and develop relationships with key stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and airport authorities.

Ensure the safety of all flights by establishing and enforcing rigorous safety procedures. This will include regular safety training for flight crew, monitoring weather conditions to avoid unsafe flying conditions, and implementing a comprehensive emergency response plan.

Oversee the SOC to ensure that all flights are scheduled efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. You’ll coordinate with other departments to schedule aircraft maintenance and optimize flight routes for fuel efficiency.

What you’ll need
