Job description

Description:

The Bean Packer I is responsible for assisting in the preparation and packaging of Bean products by performing fundamental tasks to support production efficiency. This entry-level position focuses on making boxes, pushing boxes, blowing off beans, loading, and taping. The Bean Packer I plays a key role in ensuring a smooth workflow in the packing area while following safety and quality guidelines. This position is ideal for new ambassadors who are looking to develop skills in Bean operations with the potential for growth into higher-level roles.


POSITION DETAILS

  • Shift Times: 7:00AM - 3:30PM, M-F
  • Pay Schedule: Weekly
  • Starting Pay: $15.00/hr
  • This position is seasonal hire for up to 90 days. Opportunity to be permanetly hired on will depend on performance and business demands.

  • Make boxes and prepare them for packing, ensuring proper setup and durability.
  • Push packed boxes to designated areas for storage or shipping.
  • Blow off excess beans from packaging areas to maintain cleanliness and product quality.
  • Load products into boxes efficiently while ensuring proper alignment and packing standards.
  • Tape boxes securely to prepare them for shipment and inventory storage.
  • Follow safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain efficiency in production processes to help meet daily output goals.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the work area.
  • Support the Production team in shared goals and initiatives.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 months of general manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to read and understand job aids and other instructional materials printed in English is preferred.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to move and manipulate products/materials weighing up to 50 pounds, involving frequent twisting, lifting, turning, and bending.
  • Ability to continuously pull, push, and tug materials.
