We are currently hiring for the role of Packer.
SUMMARY - Completes the packing process for control panels and accompanying accessories for shipment per customer specific requirements. Coordinates with Panel Inspection and Kele shipping department for delivery to customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assume direct responsibility for packing and coordination of shipping activities.
  • Visually inspect and pack panels for daily shipments.
  • Track and report inventory levels on panel packing supplies.
  • Examine stock packing material to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Communicate inaccuracies on products to appropriate manager.
  • Construct, when appropriate, panel crating to protect enclosure shipment.
  • Organize jobs located in the inspection staging area by panel type (stock, C, C+);
  • Verify correct parts and quantity received, along with proper paperwork.
  • Move all prepared panel enclosures to correct location.
  • Crosstrain as Mechanical Assembler to prepare panel enclosures for panel build process.
  • Become proficient in navigating and updating status changes in panel plan.
  • Keep work area clean and in 5S condition.
