Job Title:         Maintenance Technician (Electrical/PLC)

Location:         Lake Odessa, MI
Job Type:        Full-Time (Permanent)
Shift:                2nd Shift

Job Summary

Hands-on maintenance role focused on electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and equipment reliability in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Critical for minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical equipment issues
• Troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen-Bradley preferred)
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
• Maintain automation systems, controls, and instrumentation
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs
• Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, calibration tools)
• Follow safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and restore operations
• Document maintenance activities and work orders
