Job description

About this position

About PowderWatts

PowderWatts turns one of North America's largest untapped energy opportunities into an intelligent, utility-scale resource. Our patented platform combines AI, computer vision, intelligent controls, and cloud software to optimize rooftop snow-melt and heat-cable systems—helping customers protect their properties, cut electricity costs, and support a more resilient grid. As we scale across utilities, customers, contractors, and partners, our operating systems matter as much as our technology.

The Role

We're looking for a highly organized, adaptable operator who enjoys building systems and helping a growing company run better every day. This cross-functional role drives execution across sales, operations, customer experience, utility programs, installations, and the business systems that support them. One hour you might build a HubSpot workflow; the next, resolve a utility rebate issue, answer a customer question, or coordinate an installation across our partner network. The right person enjoys learning quickly, wearing many hats, and stepping in wherever they can create the greatest impact as the business evolves.

What You'll Own

  • Coordinate day-to-day execution across sales, customer operations, utility rebates, and installations.
  • Own HubSpot administration: data quality, reporting, dashboards, pipeline configuration, workflows, automations, and user support.
  • Manage the end-to-end rebate process with power companies and their service affiliates—applications, approvals, documentation, and customer reimbursements—and keep a reliable tracker.
  • Serve as a responsive point of contact for customers and installers by phone and email, documenting issues and coordinating resolution.
  • Schedule installations across our installer partner network, balancing customer availability, installer capacity, geography, and equipment readiness.
  • Build and maintain Smartsheet trackers, project plans, and operating dashboards.
  • Document repeatable processes and find practical ways to reduce manual work and prevent handoff failures.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success in a fast-moving, cross-functional operations, sales operations, or project coordination role.
  • Exceptional organization, follow-through, and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset: quick to learn, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to execute with limited direction.
  • Experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM, including workflows, automation, reporting, and data management.
  • Strong spreadsheet, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to turn status and exceptions into clear next actions.
  • A track record of building scalable processes and supporting customers, partners, or cross-functional teams.
  • Strong judgment, resourcefulness, and a bias for action.

Bonus Experience

  • Utility, energy-efficiency, or rebate programs—especially working with utilities or program administrators.
  • Scheduling field service, construction, or contractor work across multiple locations.
  • Installed products, building technologies, HVAC/electrical trades, IoT, or hardware-enabled software.
  • Early-stage or high-growth companies where responsibilities evolve quickly.
  • Sales operations or RevOps experience, including CRM administration, reporting, lead management, and sales process improvement.

Location

Candidates should be in Utah, willing to relocate, or able to spend significant time in the Park City / Salt Lake City area during this growth phase. Occasional travel to customers, installation sites, and utility partners may be required.

Compensation

A competitive package with base salary, performance-based incentive compensation, and benefits.

Base salary: $80,000–$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

The pay range for this role is:

80,000 - 110,000 USD per year(Park City, UT)
