Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Residential Plumbing Operations Manager to oversee and manage our residential plumbing field operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Residential New Construction (RNC) Plumbing Installation, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of achieving production goals while ensuring quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
As the Plumbing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing all residential plumbing operations within the organization.
  • Managing plumbing projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, staffing, and budgeting.
  • Ensuring projects meet specifications, timelines, quality standards, and financial targets.
  • Supervising and coordinating daily activities of plumbing field teams.
  • Conducting quality inspections to maintain high workmanship standards.
  • Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and applicable codes.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers, builders, contractors, vendors, and team members.
  • Addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Providing estimates and assisting with job costing and budget management.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving operational challenges to minimize delays and disruptions.
  • Managing project documentation and preparing regular progress and performance reports.

  • 4-6 years of experience in plumbing operations, construction management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing plumbing teams, projects, and field operations.

  • Familiarity with applicable plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed in both office and field environments, including active residential construction sites.
  • Frequent travel between job sites is required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs and ladders throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely navigate active construction sites and uneven terrain.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle for business-related travel.
  • Regular use of computers, tablets, smartphones, and other office technology.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions, construction noise, dust, and other job site conditions.
