Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), medication administration systems, and hospital protocols is necessary. Weekend Only Registered Nurses often encounter challenges such as higher patient volumes, limited access to certain support staff, and the need for efficient communication with weekday teams. Building rapport with colleagues and staying updated through thorough handoffs can help ensure seamless patient care and a smoother workflow during weekends.
