Job description

We are seeking an Urgent Hire - Registered Nurse Stepdown to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.

OFFERING A $6,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!

Shift Times:

  • 12 hrs Days(6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) with rotating weekends
  • 12 hrs Nights (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) with rotating weekends

Responsibilities:

  • The Stepdown Registered Nurse (with Cardiac focus) Will care for a variety of patients including CP rule out, STEMI, NSTEMI, post CABG, post thoracotomy, post peripheral vascular surgery/procedure, respiratory failure with BIPAP or Airvo, dysrhythmias or blood pressures requiring IV intervention and monitoring, CHF, sepsis, etc... Post Cardiac Cath Lab patients are recovered on the unit and nursing is responsible for management of arterial sheaths. Pressors or IV infusions are not titrated on CVCU. Develop and implement total nursing care for patients by assessment, nursing diagnosis, patient care plans, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.  Develop systems to provide care to a population including infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Qualifications:

  • Authorized to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma. - Required.
  • Currently holds or willing to obtain NIH Certification - Required.
  • At least 6 months of Stepdown experience - Required..
  • BSN - Preferred.
