Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), medication administration systems, and hospital protocols is necessary. Excellent time management, adaptability, and communication skills are crucial to handle higher patient loads and collaborate with weekend staff. Building rapport with colleagues and staying updated through thorough handoffs can help ensure seamless patient care and a smoother workflow during weekends.
