Registered Nurse (RN)

Cypress Woods Care Center is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the long-term care unit at our beautiful skilled nursing facility. Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide comprehensive Registered Nurse (RN) care for residents

· Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of residents and evaluate changes in condition to ensure appropriate interventions and care planning

· Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician and in accordance with facility policies and professional nursing standards

· Provide skilled nursing care including wound care, IV therapy (as permitted by state practice), tube feedings, suctioning, catheter care, and other complex nursing procedures

· Supervise, delegate, and provide clinical guidance to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel in accordance with state nurse practice acts

· Ensure care plans are developed, implemented, and updated based on resident assessments and interdisciplinary team input

· Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective resident care

· Accurately complete all required documentation, assessments, and clinical records in a timely manner and in accordance with regulatory standards

Schedule

· Schedule: FT Dayshift, Evening and PRN

· Location: Angleton, Texas

Skills and Qualifications

· BSN from an accredited school of nursing required

· Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by Texas required

· BLS certification from the AHA required
