Registered Nurse Position

Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our General Surgery Adult/Peds team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.

Work Schedule: .9 FTE - Rotating day and night shift, weekends only -WSP (12-hour shifts)

Required Qualifications: Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master's degree program in Nursing. BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.

  • Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
  • BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
  • Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
  • Candidate must have at least one year Med Surg RN experience

Preferred Qualifications: Charge RN experience
