Hamilton Veterinary Hospital is Hiring a Veterinary Receptionist!

Role: Veterinary Receptionist Status: Part-Time Salary: $18.00–$24.00 per hour, based on skills and experience Schedule: Two to three 8-hour shifts per week plus Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

What You'll Do

  • Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and during high-stress situations
  • Manage lobby flow, schedule appointments, and assist with client concerns
  • Help handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners while ensuring safety and calm communication
  • Assist clients with medication pickups, service questions, and product information
  • Input and manage data within practice management software, including billing and accounts
  • Process retail sales, faxes, and medical records
  • Reconcile the cash drawer and complete end-of-day financial duties accurately

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Bring

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
