The Business Continuity Analyst I is responsible for supporting the daily administration, tracking, documentation, and oversight of the Bank's Business Continuity program. This position assists with monitoring assigned BC program tasks, coordinating follow-up with departments and branches, reviewing submitted testing documentation for completeness and accuracy, maintaining program evidence, and supporting timely completion of Business Impact Analysis, testing, training, vendor documentation, and Incident Response activities. The role also supports reporting, audit readiness, regulatory alignment, and business continuity event response activities under the direction of the department manager.
Key Responsibilities:
  Monitor assigned Business Continuity program tasks daily, including testing, BIA, checklist, training, vendor documentation, action items, and other program deliverables.
  Track department and branch business continuity testing progress, identify overdue or incomplete items, and follow up with responsible managers or designees to support timely completion.
  Review submitted business continuity testing documentation for completeness, accuracy, required evidence, and alignment with established testing requirements.
  Support administration of the Bank's Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Checklist processes, including tracking submissions, validating required information, and escalating missing or incomplete responses.
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to foster effective business relationships with internal and external parties.
Competencies Required:
  Solid technology, phone, and internet skills, including intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. 
  Advanced knowledge of English grammar, appropriate standards regarding letter and memorandum composition, and proper telephone etiquette.
  Ability to develop and maintain a broad understanding of the Bank's organization, business objectives and operations.
  Ability to exercise sound judgment and independent discretion in setting priorities, communicating with others, and handling confidential or sensitive information.
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to foster effective business relationships with internal and external parties.
  Professional appearance and demeanor; maintains a positive and congenial attitude; deals effectively with a variety of personalities with diplomacy, tact, and poise.
  Customer service orientation with effective problem-solving, negotiation and follow-up skills.
  Working knowledge of business continuity concepts, including BIA, RTO, RPO, critical operations, recovery strategies, testing, incident response, and lessons learned.
  Proven ability to prioritize and manage workload and to instill a sense of urgency in others as necessary to meet deadlines.
  Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, ServiceNow or similar workflow/ticketing systems, and business continuity tracking or reporting tools.
  Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  Excellent planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and concern for accuracy.
  Flexibility to work extended hours as necessary during a business continuity event.
 

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
  1 to 3 years of experience in banking, operations, risk management, compliance, project coordination, emergency management, business continuity, disaster recovery, vendor management, or a related administrative support function required.
  Experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Incident Response, Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, or banking operations preferred.
Formal Education & Certification:
  Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education preferred. 
Work Status:
  Full-Time.
Supervisory Responsibility:
  None.
Travel:
  Up to 10% travel expected.
Working Conditions:
  Conditions involve lifting no more than 30 pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
