Job description

CT Technologist - Weekend Nights (Full Time) - Aurora, CO

We are hiring a CT Technologist for a full-time weekend-nights position with a leading academic medical campus in Aurora, Colorado - Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (0.9 FTE), ideal if you want your weekdays free.

Pay range: $37.35 - $52.29 per hour. Pay is dependent on relevant experience.
Location: Aurora, Colorado (onsite; no hybrid or remote option)
Setting: Outpatient radiology CT department on a leading academic medical campus
Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) - Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (0.9 FTE, confirmed by the hiring team)
Shift: Weekend Nights
Employment type: Direct hire (permanent), employed by the hiring facility

What you will do
  • Perform CT imaging procedures; review patient history and physician orders; educate patients on procedures and equipment.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice; monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
  • Select exposure factors and imaging parameters; perform quality control on equipment; troubleshoot and report malfunctions.
  • Evaluate image quality and take corrective action; enter, transmit and report scan results; may perform 3-D post processing.
Minimum requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with ARRT, and either registered in computed tomography (CT) by ARRT or registry-eligible with completion of the CT registry within 12 months. State licensure if required by law.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association, or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in hand before start date and valid through 60 days of hire.
