Welder / MIG Welder (Weekend Shift)

Weekend Warrior Shift: Friday - Sunday | 6 AM - 6 PM

Location: Canton, OH

Employment Type: Full-time, Hourly

Pay: Starting at $25+ per hour

About the Role

We're looking for a Welder / MIG Welder to help build the foundation of our quality products. In this hands-on role, you'll fabricate and weld steel components that support infrastructure across the country. You'll thrive in a stable, team-oriented environment where following processes and producing consistent, high-quality work is deeply valued.


What You'll Do

  • Review blueprints and schematics to prepare materials and equipment
  • Set up, assemble, and weld mild steel (and occasionally stainless steel) components
  • Use MIG welding techniques that meet AWS and internal QC standards
  • Operate overhead cranes and rigging equipment safely during assembly
  • Lay out work using tape measures, squares, and standard tools
  • Cut, drill, and fabricate steel per design specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area aligned with safety and quality practices
  • Follow standard operating procedures and production schedules with accuracy

Requirements

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in welding or metal fabrication preferred
  • MIG welding proficiency required; ability to pass AWS/internal QC weld tests
  • Ability to read blueprints and work to specifications
  • Familiarity with overhead crane operation and safe lifting techniques
  • Capable of lifting 60 lbs. and working on your feet for 12 hours/day
  • A dependable work ethic and appreciation for consistency, order, and teamwork
  • Preferred but not required: Background in steel manufacturing or industrial fabrication, Certification in welding or trade school training
