What You'll Do
As a Medical Receptionist, you'll help create a positive patient experience by providing exceptional customer service and administrative support while ensuring efficient front office operations.
  • Welcome patients and complete check-in, check-out, and registration.
  • Collect co-pays, deposits, and required patient documentation.
  • Prepare and organize new patient paperwork, insurance information, and privacy forms.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
  • Schedule appointments and assist with daily front office operations.
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate patient records and medical charts.
  • File medical documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Prepare examination rooms and assist with patient flow.
  • Record patient histories, vital signs, and test results as directed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized reception and clinical environment.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and facility policies.
  • Complete required annual training and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of three (3) year of experience in a medical clinic.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
  • Medical billing experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
