Medical Assistant - Float Pool

UNM Medical Group, Inc. is hiring for a Medical Assistant to join our Float Pool. We have full-time opportunities for our day shift opening located in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

*Sign-On Bonus - $2,000*

Minimum $38,948 - Midpoint $47,818*

*Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.

*Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.

Minimum Job Requirements of a Medical Assistant:

  1. High school diploma or GED and
  2. Medical Assistant Program Graduate Certificate and
  3. If applicable; current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Clinics will serve in both an administrative front desk role, as well as a Medical Assistant for clinical back office duties, to include assisting with procedures, triaging, and quality initiative projects.
