Harness Assembly Technician

Pay: $17.50+ hourly, weekly payroll cycle

Are you detail-oriented and enjoy working with your hands? Do you take pride in building precision products that play a critical role across multiple industries? We're looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team as Harness Assembly Technicians.

Joining a leading, local manufacturer, you'll help assemble high-quality tubing harnesses used in multiple industries. If you're looking for a stable career where you can develop valuable technical skills while working in a clean, team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

  • Assemble precision tubing harnesses by following production drawings, templates, and work instructions.

  • Gather the correct tubing, fittings, and materials needed for each production order.

  • Set up and operate cutting, marking, and depth-marking equipment.

  • Operate ovens and cooling chambers to process products according to specifications.

  • Assemble tubing and fittings while ensuring proper alignment and secure connections.

  • Load tubing reels and prepare materials for cutting and processing.

  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.

  • Read and follow cut sheets, diagrams, templates, and production instructions.

  • Record quality information and complete required production documentation.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or mechanical experience is a plus, but motivated individuals with strong attention to detail are encouraged to apply.

  • Mechanical aptitude and excellent hand-eye coordination.

  • Ability to read and interpret simple diagrams, templates, and written work instructions.

  • Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.

  • Strong commitment to producing quality work safely and efficiently.

  • Dependable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout your shift.

  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 45 pounds.

  • Frequently push, pull, bend, kneel, squat, and perform repetitive hand movements.

  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, safety shoes, and other required gear.

  • Ability to distinguish sizes, shapes, and colors and respond to machine alarms and audible signals.
