Job description


A manufacturing company is seeking individuals to work as members of a team in an assembly line following written production and test methods. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Comprehend and follow written production and test methods
  • Utilize manual and battery powered screwdrivers, and other assembly tools, fixtures, and equipment
  • Log into computer, open and enter into a spreadsheet file, save the file, etc.
  • Operate hydraulic or manual presses and other simple machines in a light assembly process
  • Handle and move loads of up to 30 pounds
  • Understand and follow employee handbook and maintain accuracy of all inventory procedures
  • Fill out daily labor cards correctly and completely
  • Follow all safety rules and requirements
  • Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Must have previous assembly experience
  • Must be able to follow written production and test methods
  • Must have the ability to operate hydraulic or manual press and other simple machines
  • Must be computer literate with the ability to work with spreadsheets and enter accurate data
  • Must be able to use hand tools and move up to 30 pounds
  • Must have the ability to fill out daily labor reports correctly
  • Ability to follow all safety rules and requirements is mandatory
