Job description

Kelly is hiring an Assembly Technician on behalf of a leading aerospace and fluid systems manufacturer in Northeast Ohio. This organization specializes in the design and production of highly engineered components used in aviation and other demanding industries.
This is a temporary, project-based opportunity expected to continue through December 31, 2026.
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday - Friday
Location: Hudson 44236

Position Summary
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling precision components and finished products, cleaning and testing parts, and ensuring all products meet quality and customer specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow detailed work instructions, and a commitment to producing defect-free products.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble detailed aerospace and fluid power components according to specifications
  • Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, visual aids, and manufacturing documentation
  • Perform assembly, testing, inspection, and documentation activities to aerospace quality standards
  • Use small hand tools and assembly equipment to manufacture products
  • Pull components using pick lists and accurately consume materials in the MRP system
  • Perform final inspections on completed assemblies
  • Mark parts using rubber stamps, computer-controlled equipment, and blueprint-directed methods
  • Complete required production and quality documentation
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3 years of assembly or manufacturing experience
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Aerospace or aviation manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
