Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform a variety of assembly and production tasks to support the manufacturing of high-quality medical devices and components. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a regulated environment, following detailed instructions, and maintaining strict quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of production assembly operations ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive tasks on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Assemble components such as modules, circuit boards, panels, frames, cables, drawers, and other medical device products.
  • Follow visual aids, process layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal work instructions to complete assembly tasks accurately.
  • Set up initial assembly layouts and prepare materials for production.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and saws safely and effectively.
  • Conduct continuity checks and basic testing on work-in-process and completed assemblies.
  • Perform quality inspections during various stages of production to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify and report product defects, process issues, or quality concerns.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test assemblies or subassemblies as required.
  • Assist with prototype and experimental builds by assembling and testing products according to specifications and simulated operating conditions.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or medical device experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers for fine motor assembly work.
  • Ability to lift and move materials.
  • Good visual acuity for detailed inspection and assembly tasks.


Shift Schedules

  • First, Second, and Third shift available


Benefits

  • Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines. #IND345
