Compensation: $40.00 - $42.00 hourly.


Role Overview

The Junior ADAS Technician supports the workshop team in the build-up, modification, and updating of prototype and pre-series vehicles.

This is a hands-on, entry-level position focused on execution under guidance, with emphasis on learning ADAS systems, vehicle integration processes, and workshop standards.


Key Responsibilities


Prototype Build-Up and Updates

  • Support installation and integration of ADAS components (cameras, radar, ECUs, wiring harnesses)
  • Assist with vehicle retrofits, updates, and configuration changes
  • Perform basic tasks such as:

-Component replacement

- Harness routing

- Mechanical mounting of sensors and brackets


Workshop Support

  • Execute assigned tasks under supervision from Foreman or senior technicians
  • Prepare vehicles for build, testing, or handover
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas (5S principles)

Basic Diagnostics & Validation

  • Perform basic vehicle checks and functional verification after build activities
  • Report issues clearly to senior technicians

Documentation

  • Record work preformed and parts used
  • Support documentation of vehicle configurations and updates


Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Technical training OR Associate's degree in Automotive Technology, Mechatronics, or similar
  • 1+ years of hands-on automotive experience (entry-level acceptable, meeting the below requirements):
  • Basic understanding of:

- Vehicle Electrical Systems

- Automotive tools (i.e., diagnostic) and workshop practices

  • Willingness to learn ADAS systems and diagnostics
  • Exposure to ADAS components or modern vehicle electronics
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a structured environment
  • Valid US driver’s license
  • Occasional support also on the weekends (if necessary)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with basic diagnostic tools
  • Familiarity with wiring diagrams (basic level)

All tools to be used are provided (Techs not required to bring own tools)
