TRC Talent is looking for a Material Handler for our client in Kennesaw

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, the Material Handler supports warehouse operations by moving, organizing, and processing materials. This role may also involve using cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other equipment as needed. The position involves working on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery and requires attention to safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Job Details:
  • Schedule: Friday Sunday, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
  • Pay: $19$22/hr + $2.60/hr (weekend shift differential)
  • Temp-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for accurately receiving, stocking, and organizing raw materials, finished goods, and supplies according to inventory procedures and production needs.
  • Picks, processes, and packages customer orders to ensure items are correctly prepared and ready for shipment in a timely manner.
  • Loads and unloads trucks while verifying that all incoming and outgoing materials are accurate and properly documented.
  • May be required to operate a Kaltenbach saw to cut materials or orders based on job specifications and production requirements.
  • Performs cycle counts regularly to help maintain accurate inventory levels and support overall warehouse accuracy.
  • Identifies defective, damaged, or non-conforming materials and properly labels, holds, and segregates them according to company guidelines.
  • Completes all required paperwork and documentation accurately and in accordance with established work instructions and procedures.
  • Conducts daily forklift inspections at the start of each shift and promptly reports any safety or mechanical issues to supervision.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area by following housekeeping standards and 6S initiatives.
  • Participates in all required safety programs and complies with OSHA, ISO, and company safety policies at all times.
  • Works collaboratively with team members and supports additional warehouse operations as assigned by supervisors or team leads.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and reliability by assisting in various tasks to ensure smooth daily operations throughout the facility.
