Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Product Support Supply Chain Manager to support the team in San Antonio, TX. Position Responsibilities
  • Inventory management of aircraft kitted and rotatable parts, consumables and emergent parts
  • Toolroom management, facilities management and plant and equipment maintenance, technical management of external supply chain and coordination with third party vendors to support site requirements
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
First Line Leader Assessment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • 3+ years of experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Supply Chain Planning
  • Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams
